Two near misses...
Would you consider yoursefl luck or unluck if you had 2 near misses.
Say you nearly got into a car accident, would you consider yousefl lucky because you missed it by inches or unlucky because you got into an accident.
Le premier est quatre-vingt deux virgule cinquate.... duexième est quatre-vingt-un virgule cinq.....troisième est quatre-vingt-un virgule vingt-cinq!

Merdeka!(also shouted when the exams are over)
It’s our very own 4th of July! and our dear leaders can't help but remind us to display our affections for own by waving the Jalur Gemilang (Stripes of Glory?). Some are more patriotic than other but who can top the girl that dressed herself in our nation’s colours. Most find it vulgar but I found it quite amusing. She’s definitely more passionate about this country than I am. Don’t get me wrong I love Malaysia very much. Every time I leave this country I come back more grateful. Citizens of this country lack a sense of humour, is it so difficult to look at the brighter side of life. Sure it dressing skimpy is against our ‘Asian values’ but have you notice everything around you e.g. girls showing of their fluorescent G-string and micro-mini-skirts. Pfff.
So don’t you think your more guilty for showing being unpassionate about our homeland (if you consider this you’re home that is).
However the luke warm is understandable. Why are they expecting us to hoo-haa now when we can hoo-haa on the actual day itself (31 August if some of you have forgotten). I think it’s a scam, one the ministers owns a flag manufacturing facility and is trying to make a quick million off them (who makes a quick buck nowadays).
So long people enjoy your holidays. Vive la Malaisie.
Note to self: my my aren’t you a preacher today?

Borders - my new library
Say you have a questions and googling gives you a bunch of crap, go to Borders.
*******
I like going to book stores but I think its time to phase out the phrase 'Can I help you?' uttered every time I visit Borders.
Duh! maybe that’s why I'm at the bookstore cause I need help. Why not direct me straight away to the self-help section if they think I do.
I admit I'm not that smart that why's I probably at the bookstore. But when I say no I don't need their help they give me this look like they're saying 'So you know everything there is to know do ya? if ya do whatcha doin here anyway?'
People working there should help themselves to 'Body languages for dummies'. Why don't they ever ask the people sitting at the sofas if they would like some coffee? Better yet tell them to make themselves at home, get them a pillow since some customers have already planted themselves there.
End
hmm.... I have cheese, maggi mee, left overs in the fridge lets go to borders and see what creative supper can I whip up. Damn! I forgot I closes at 9.30 pm.
Note to self: what happened to the koala bear?
